Event Description
Shobu Aikido is having a Weapons Seminar at 34 Allen St Saturday October 10th, 9am -12 noon & 2 - 4pm Open to All Aikido Students! Sensei William Gleason, 6th dan, will be teaching this seminar. Weapons seminars typically combine sword and jo training, illustrating the parallels of the movements with open-handed technique. This seminar is highly-recommended for aikidoka of all levels and affiliations. Sensei Gleason has a DVD entitled "Aikido and Japanese Sword" (2008). He is the author of "The Spiritual Foundations of Aikido" (1995) and the recently released "Aikido and Words of Power" (2009).
